The Vermont Adventure – day six

photo 2

Today consisted mainly of graduate lectures and readings as well as our third workshop. Tonight the students will learn who their advisors are for the next six months, so there is a lot of anticipation. The second-semester students also threw a party for all of the first-semester newbies. It was very generous and thoughtful and helped build community. Tonight will end with student readings, and I will meet afterwards with a grad assistant to go over one of my novel excerpts. Very exciting and edifying day.
